2012 In Prophecy
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Matthew 24:36 (King James Version)
Let us honestly open our Bibles, and prayerfully investigate. We are told to study not argue, not to refute, but to show ourselves approved unto God to learn God's will. We are commanded, as Christians, to grow in knowledge as well as in grace (II Peter 3:18). All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable to correct and to reprove us, where we have, through assumption, false teaching, or prejudice, been in error. Regarding knowing "the day or the hour" mentioned in Matthew 24:36 this website does not set dates and will not set dates.

Let us therefore look to God's Word say in regards to signs in the time of the end.

"And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

"Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken." Luke 21:25-26 (King James Version)

Let us, therefore, in willing submission to God, to His will, with yielded hearts free from prejudice, with open minds desiring truth more than our own way, trembling before the sacred and holy Word of God, ask God humbly for the direction of His Holy Spirit. And in this prayerful, submissive, willing, yet careful and cautious attitude, study this question proving all things.

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
Luke 21:28 (King James Version)

One cannot look at one or two superficial signs or events and jump to any sure conclusion. We must comprehend God's overall PURPOSE and how he is working out that purpose. Many prophecies must be considered. We must not guess or surmise, or jump hastily to conclusions.

God gave His Church seven annual Sabbaths, God, in His wisdom, had a great purpose. These days, too, were given to keep God's children in the true memory and worship of God by keeping us constantly in the understanding of God's great plan of redemption. For these annual days picture the different epochs in the plan of spiritual creation mark the dispensations, and picture their meaning.

The whole story of spiritual regeneration was, in these feast days, to be reenacted year after year continually. They have vitally important symbolism and meaning.

God's feasts, or holy days, or Sabbaths, were commanded to be kept year after year, and forever! We ask the reader to retain an open mind, for we shall prove that forever, in this case, means forever!

Thus God purposed to impress the truths these "high" Sabbaths picture upon all the minds of His children through all time, keeping His Church in the true understanding of plan!

God's Master Plan

The Plan starts with Christ. The first festival is the Passover.

Passover symbolized Christ's sacrifice for the remission of our sins, and the days of unleavened bread the putting away of sin. Pentecost pictures the first part of the spiritual harvest the calling out of the Church the called-out ones which, for the New Testament dispensation, began on Sunday Pentecost, June 17, 31 AD. On that day the Holy Spirit came to dwell within flesh, as prophesied by Joel. The crucifixion was upon the Passover day the very day!

The second festival is that of Unleavened Bread -- seven days, of which the first and last are annual Sabbaths or holy days. As seven is God's number of completeness, they picture the complete putting away of sin, or the overcoming life.

The third is the Feast of Firstfruits, called in the New Testament "Pentecost," because it came fifty days after the cutting of the wave sheaf during the Days of Unleavened Bread. The Church was founded on that day. On that day the Holy Spirit was given to those God had drawn FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE GOD BARRED HUMANITY FROM HIS SPIRIT (Genesis 3:22-24). The Church is the FIRSTFRUITS of God's salvation, and therefore the festival given that name.

The Holy Spirit came, beginning the selecting of the firstfruits of salvation, on the very day of Pentecost. Had not those 120 disciples been observing this annual Sabbath had they not been assembled there in holy convocation could they have received that blessing of the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit?

Christ's direct intervention in world affairs will be the next event in the plan of redemption.

The fourth festival is the Feast of Trumpets, the first day of the seventh month of God's sacred calendar, late summer or early autumn. It pictures the Second Coming of Christ. Repeatedly Jesus warned us to watch, regarding His Second Coming! Could it be possible that, unless we are observing the Feast of Trumpets, as the first-century Church of God was observing Pentecost, that we shall not be ready, or caught up to meet Him? We do not we cannot, of course say; but we do ask the question. Is it not possible? Let us humbly and willingly yield to walk obediently in all the light.

Why would he give us this forewarning that "there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars" if we are not supposed to study it and know?  If we don't know the biblical calendar then we will remain clueless as to what God is doing.

The fifth festival is the Day of Atonement, the tenth day of the seventh month. It pictures the putting away of Satan, since Christ who had qualified to restore (Acts 3:19-21) the government of God shall be inducted on the throne at Jerusalem. This day pictures the making of man's AT-ONE-MENT with God through Christ.

The sixth is the Feast of Tabernacles -- a seven-day festival, picturing the seventh thousand year reign of Christ and the resurrected saints. During this millennium the TREE OF LIFE will be opened to ALL who repent and believe.

The seventh is the Last Great Day, following the seven days, picturing the Great White Throne Judgment. At that time, all from Adam on, who were not called, will be resurrected to judgment. The Book of LIFE will be opened (Revelation 20:12).

A Third of Bible Is PROPHECY

Approximately ONE THIRD of all the Bible is devoted to PROPHECY. Many whole Books of Scripture, especially in the Old Testament-- Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and all the so-called "minor" prophets--are devoted primarily to PROPHECY.

And do you realize that the very Church of Jesus Christ is actually built on the very FOUNDATION of these PROPHETS, and of their prophetic writings? You'll read that in Ephesians 2:20.

But the actual FRAMEWORK, or superstructure, of all the prophecies is found in two prophetic Books--one in the Old, the other in the New Testament--the Books of Daniel and the Revelation. And in the Book of Revelation, alone, do we find events of the various other prophecies correlated in order of TIME SEQUENCE.

The book of Revelation was given as a mystic and CLOSED book, sealed with seven seals. Some of the prophecies revealed to and written by Daniel also were closed and sealed until this very time of WORLD-CRISIS at the close of this present age.

Daniel wrote, at the conclusion of his Book: "I heard, but I understood not"--that is, he heard what the angel had revealed, which Daniel wrote in his Book--but he himself did not understand the very prophecies he had been inspired to write. The angel said to Daniel: "The words are CLOSED UP, and SEALED, till the time of the end"--and the Moffatt translation renders it "till the crisis at the CLOSE--that is, till this world-crisis at the close of this age! (Dan.12:8-9.) Again, verse 4: "But thou, 0 Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased."

As the prophecies of Daniel were closed and SEALED until this time of the END--this world-crisis at the close--this time of rapid transportation, men running to and fro--this time of INCREASED KNOWLEDGE--so also the prophecies of the Book of Revelation were SEALED!

Yes, they were sealed with seven seals, as we shall see!

But today we live in the dynamic, exciting, terrible "time of the END--the world-crisis at the CLOSE of the age! The prophecies and mysteries of God, sealed until now, are today REVEALED to those whom God has chosen to carry His last Message to the world as a witness! Jesus Christ, Head of His Church, is the Revealer! Christ has opened these mysteries to His servants!

The time has come for God's servants to open up to YOU--to lay bare before your startled eyes--these tremendous prophecies of Daniel and the Book of Revelation!
