       Abdi [servant of, a contraction of servant of God].

       1. A Levite of the family of Merari. He was the son of Malluch, and father of Kishi (1 Chron. 6:44). The Abdi of 2 Chron. 29:12 seems to be the same man.

       2. Son of a certain Elam (Ezra 10:26).
